NCC Officer: Capt. Dr. N.THIRUNAVUKKARASU
Training Completed:
- Refresher Course for the NCC officers at Officers Training Academy, Kamptee, Nagpur, Maharashtra from 31.10.2016 to 29.11.16.
- Short Term Course on Disaster Management conducted by National Disaster Response Force, Arakkonam in February 2018.
Awards:
- Overall Best Associate NCC Officer Award in the Refresher Course for the NCC officers at Officers Training Academy, Kamptee, Nagpur, Maharashtra from 31.10.2016 to 29.11.16.
The college NCC officer Capt.Dr.N.Thirunavukkarasu has attended the Refresher Course for the NCC officers at Officers Training Academy, Kamptee, Nagpur, Maharashtra from 31.10.2016 to 29.11.16. He got trained physical training, drill, weapon training, personality development, written test and personal interview, etc. Totally 57 NCC officers from all over India participated and our college NCC officer stood first in all the trainings and he has given Overall Best NCC Officer Award given by Major General N.S.Rao, Camp Commondant, Officers Training Academy, Kamptee, Nagpur, Maharashtra.
Tree Plantation (1.10.2016)
Totally 225 saplings were planted in our college premises since 1st October 2016. Our NCC Cadets were fully involved all the activities towards the plantation. They have engaged in digging, planting, fencing the saplings and watering, etc. The maintenance of the saplings are being carried out by our NCC cadets. From the period of August 1 to 15th, 2017 totally 40 various saplings includes nilavembu, pungan, vilvam, gulmahar were obtained from the Tamilnadu Forest Department, Santhoshpuram, Chennai and were planted.
Blood Donation Camp – 12th September 2018
The blood donation camp was conducted on 12.9.2018 at Dr.Ambedkar Govt. Arts College, Vyasarpadi, Chennai. Dr.MGR Medical University blood bank was collected the blood. There were about 60 units of blood collected. The programme was jointly conducted by NCC and NSS of Dr.Ambedkar Govt. Arts College.
