2016-17 One Day Seminar 1st March 2017  In collaboration with  Breakthrough Science  SocietyA Lecture on “Science and Scientific  approach towards life” Dr. S.H.Thilagar, Associate Professor,  Anna University, Chennai Lecture focused on scientific knowledge and to  develop a more sophisticated understanding of  scientific topics.The speaker explained laws and  theories required for scientific method and also  to think new concepts and repeat steps at any  point during the process.
2017-18 National Science Day celebrations 22.02.2018  Inter departmental Competitions – Oratorical, essay writing, poster presentation To create awareness about National Science  Day. Oratorical, essay and poster presentation  were conducted among the college students of  all departments.Prizes were distributed
2017-18 National Science Day  celebrations 28.02.2018  Lecture on”Glimpses of  Indian space program – past, present and Future” Mr. T.K. Sundaramoorthy, Mission Director, Communication and  meteorological space  craft (Rtd), ISRO To make students understand the thrust area of  Indian space. The seminar covered satellite  systems suited to Indian needs. Explanation of  space applications for communication,  broadcasting and remote sensing.
2018-19 National Science Day celebrations 1st March 2019  Lecture on “Cutting  the crystal with  Mathematical knife  – Bragg’s law” Dr. K. Gunasekaran, CAS in Crystallography and  Biophysics, University of Madras, Chennai The growth methods of crystals were elaborated and  also a brief view was given on crystallography. Also the speaker highlighted on Bragg’s law. Students were  very much motivated by this lecture to pursue higher  studies.
2018-19 One day Seminar 12th March 2019  Lecture on “Spectroscopy and  its applications”  Dr. G. Velraj, Associate Professor  of Physics, Anna  University, Chennai. The lecture focused on introduction about spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Applications like scanning and imaging  where explained. Also FTIR spectroscopic  analysis  of butterfly wing and its objectives were  interesting. The lecture was concluded by spectrum  analysis and polymer blends.
2019-20 ICPAMM 2020 30th & 31 st January 2020 International Conference on Physics of Advanced Materials and Molecules  (ICPAMM 2020)   Total number of resource persons-15   Aim of the conference is to impart and share knowledge on Physics of Advanced materials and molecules Chief Guest Dr.P.Duraisamy,  Vice Chancellor , University of Madras. Special address by Dr.S.Gunasekaran,  ISPA Founder-President. Keynote  address Dr.M.N.Ponnusamy  , Emeritus Professor of University of Madras, Felicitation by our International speaker  Dr.Suresh Sagadevan, Professor, Nano technology and catalysis research centre, University  of Malaya,Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia.
2019-20 National Science Day celebration 28  February 2020 “Physics through Demonstration” Prof.T.S.Natarajan Dean -International & Alumni Affairs IIT-Tirupati The lecture involved demonstrations on fundamentals of Physics which was enjoyed by the students of other disciplines

2021-22 National Science Day celebration 10 March 2022 “Raman spectroscopy-Tool for material characterisation” Dr.G.Anbalagan Professor of Nuclear Physics, University of Madras The lecture was about  Raman spectroscopy and its importance in material characterisation
