Eligibility for Admission:

* Both Men and Women candidates are eligible to apply.

* Should have appeared for the Plus Two examinations (HSC) conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or its equivalent and secured a pass in all the subjects.

* For admission to UG Courses, age limit should not exceed 21 years as on 1st July 2022. (Relaxation of 5 years permitted for the Physically Challenged candidates). SC/SCA/ST/BC/MBC/DNC candidates and women candidates may be allowed the age relaxation of 3 years for the admission into UG Courses

* For PG Courses, the candidate should have completed a UG Degree from The University of Madras or any other equivalent Universities.

Admission Procedure to UG Courses:

* The College follows the Government reservation norms in admitting the candidates.

* Rank Lists are prepared based on the Part-III total (out of 400) secured by the candidate in the HSC examination and is  posted in the college website.

* Separate quotas are available for Physically Challenged, Sports (Priority for National Level and State Level), Tamil candidates from Andaman-Nicobar Islands and Ex-Servicemen

* Shift I and Shift II admissions are done on the same day.

Admission Procedure to PG Courses:

* For Admission to Post Graduate Courses (PG) a candidate must have passed the 3 years degree courses (under the 10+2+3 pattern) recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.

Application Form

* The candidate should apply through online as directed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Online application fee for UG courses is ₹ 48+₹ 2 for registration. For SC/ST candidates there is no application fee.

*  For PG programmes , the candidate should apply through online as directed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Online application fee for PG courses is ₹ 58+₹ 2 for registration. For SC/ST candidates there is no application fee.

Rules and Regulations

* The Application form should be duly completed in all aspects and no column should be left blank.

* The choice of courses should be opted by the candidate at the time of registration.

* Filled in application should contain at least one contact number belonging to the candidate and email id.

* Documents are to be scanned and uploaded as per instruction in the web portal provided by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

* Eligibility Certificate is mandatory for students from other States/Boards/Universities.

* Incomplete Applications will not be considered for Admissions.

* The following certificates should be brought by the candidate on the day of counselling:

  • Original Mark sheets, Transfer Certificate, Community Certificate, Conduct Certificate, should be produced at the time of admission only.
  • Medical Certificate, Passport size photos, and attested photocopies of all the certificates also should be brought at the time of counselling.

* Candidates opting for special quota reservation should produce sufficient proof in original.

* If selected during counselling, the student should pay his/her fees on the same day of admission.

* In case of any malpractice or any disobedience found, the college has all rights to cancel the admission.
